Release historyDescription
Backups that live only on the node are not backups. Coldstore gives every server a backup schedule, rotates the old ones out, and copies each new backup off the node to S3, Backblaze B2 or any S3-compatible store — on its own, without the server owner having to remember.
DEMO: http://5.10.220.249/auth/login test@test.com test1234
The server owner sees one section at the bottom of their Backups page: a cadence, how many backups to keep, and a tick box for off-site copies. Everything else — the bucket, the credentials, what customers are allowed to do — stays with you in the admin panel.
WHAT THE SERVER OWNER CONTROLS
- A cadence: daily, weekly, or off
- How many of the newest backups to keep — older ones are removed as new ones are made, so the backup limit is never hit by surprise
- Whether each new backup is copied off-site
- Nothing else. No endpoint, no credentials, no way to point storage somewhere of their own
WHAT YOU CONTROL FROM ADMIN
- Master switch for all automation, panel-wide
- Whether off-site mirroring is offered at all
- Which cadences customers may choose, and the default retention
- Provider, region, endpoint, bucket, key prefix and path-style addressing — S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, MinIO or anything S3-compatible
- Access key and secret, stored panel-side
HOW IT RUNS
A scheduled command runs every 30 minutes and does the due work: takes the backups that are owed, removes what retention says to remove, and mirrors what has not been mirrored yet. Nothing depends on anyone having the panel open.

Fully supported. Missing something, or have an idea for it? Tell me — feature requests are welcome. Run into a problem? Message me on Telegram and I will get you a fix.

Rate the product however you see fit, but if something is broken please tell me about it directly too — a review alone does not tell me what went wrong on your setup, and I cannot fix what I do not know about.**
Requires Pterodactyl with Blueprint, an S3-compatible bucket for mirroring, and the panel scheduler running.
