Product Releases: Eggify - Mass Egg Import for Blueprint

Go back
  • stable v9.7 -

    Hello folks!

Sorry for the delay, it took me a while to sort some things out.

Eggify now works with the latest panel release, alongside some fancy changes to the download and update process.

Things are now a bit clearer when downloading eggs that already exist, and updated eggs now show as new, when new eggs got added to the repositories, or as update, when there is an available update for an egg.

The field that allows you to compare old > updated eggs is also improved, and shows differences more clearly.

    Thanks for your continued support!

  • stable v9.6 -

Due to a small backend change in pterodactyleggs.com, Eggify now requires an update to continue working correctly in the future.

This won’t immediately break Eggify, but will in time cause you to be unable to download/update eggs using the Blueprint version, so updating ASAP is recommended.

    It won’t change anything frontend.

  • stable v9.0 -

This release brings one of the bigger improvements to Eggify so far: smarter download & update handling. Instead of updating every egg blindly, Eggify now checks which ones actually have newer versions available and lets you choose what to update.

    New and improved features

    Check for Egg Updates:

Eggify now scans your imported eggs and compares them against their source repositories (including custom ones). It shows exactly which eggs are outdated and which are already up to date.

    Selective Updating:

You can now update only the eggs that have newer versions available. This saves time and prevents unnecessary re-importing of eggs that haven’t changed + it's nice to know what eggs got updated, no?

    Quality Improvements

    • Cleaner and faster update process.
    • Better progress feedback during checks and imports.
    • Enhanced automatic cleanup of temporary folders after successful operations.
    • Small UI changes for better readability and smoother workflow.

    Important Note for Existing Users!

Versions older than 8.5 should go to Eggify → Download and select the repositories they currently have (or all if preferred), then click Download Eggs.

This will re-import the eggs with the new metadata required for the new update system to function correctly.

This update makes updating your eggs better, safer, and much more transparent. You’ll always know what changed & what didn't

  • stable v8.5 -

🚨The new features will remain Experimental until any potential bugs/issues are fixed. They may not fully function as expected yet

This release introduces powerful new capabilities for your egg management, alongside several user interface improvements and bug fixes. All existing Eggify features remain fully functional—these additions complement and enhance the current capabilities.

New Features Analyze Custom GitHub Repositories (through the Download tab) Input any GitHub repository URL to scan for valid egg files. Select exactly which eggs you'd like to import and assign them to a nest of your choice.

Update Custom Eggs Save information about selected eggs and nests from custom repositories. When Downloading Eggs from a custom repository, it will have an option to '' Track this repo and nest for future custom egg updates.'' This will save the URL, eggs and nest u chose, to allow you to update them through the update tab.

This will be stored in /var/www/pterodactyl/custom_repos.json

    UI & UX Enhancements

    • Clearer descriptions for Download, Custom, and Update tabs.
    • Helpful notices for experimental features
    • Improved warnings and instructions for smoother user experience.
  • stable v8.4 -

Fixed a bug causing the update feature to make duplicate nests in some cases
