  • stable v2.6 - 

    Small birthday update. :)

    It mainly provides quality improvements, and customisation options for admins like:

    • Overwrite IP
    • Overwrite Host (shown in for ex. neofetches)
    • Overwrite Banner

    These updates aren't really new, but they were never released to the public.

  • stable v2.5 - 
    • VNC will now use the defined password.

    • Added windows-2022-desktop, user "Administrator" and default password "lumenvm"

    • Added Alma and Rocky Linux.

    • Fixed & modified OVMF to include a custom logo.

    • Error handling, LumenVM will detect some misconfigurations and report them to the end user.

    • Added host set as LumenVM.

    • Dedicated IPV4 variable/command.

    • Added NoVNC as display mode.

    • LumenVM will use the actual allocated CPU in the VM.

  • beta v2.4 - 
    • Added Kali, Debian 12 Desktop, Ubuntu 24 Desktop, Windows 7 and 10 Desktop
    • Added rdp to display modes, forwards the default pterodactyl port to 3389, works out of the box for Windows 7/10, for linux distros, you need to install an rdp server by yourself.
    • Added a new port forwarding logic, you can add ports separated by a comma and a space, and you can use the (hostport)-(guestport) format too.

    LUMENVM - MAJOR UPDATE

    > Starting today, LumenVM will be available in two versions:

    > LumenVM: The classic version of LumenVM, no more major updates will be published, will be marked as EoL (End-Of-Life). > LumenVM Plus: A new version, supporting cloud-init, with major changes.

    Available features for LumenVM Plus: - Set a password from pterodactyl. - Set a hostname from pterodactyl. - Set a public key from pterodactyl. - Set a disk size from pterodactyl. - Optionally update packeges on boot. - Optionally set VNC and UEFI.

    Operating Systems Supported in LumenVM Plus - Debian 10, 11, 12, 13 - Fedora 40 - Ubuntu 18, 20, 22, 24 - Arch Linux - Alpine

    • Added kvm acceleration - virtual machines are way faster than before, it's completely optional.

    • Fixed some images.

    NOTE: ADDING KVM REQUIRES A CUTOM WINGS BUILD ON ALL OF YOUR NODES

    • Added a completely new ui.
    • Added a Kali desktop image.
    • Added new startup variables (VNC + UEFI).
    • Moved the shell to a completely different image.
